Favors expanded rights for illegal aliens in the U.S.

Founded in 1968, the Center for Community Change (CCC) is a non-profit organization that recruits and trains activists to spearhead leftist “political issue campaigns” and promotes increased funding for social welfare programs by bringing “attention to major national issues related to poverty.”

CCC bases its training programs on the techniques taught by the famed radical organizer Saul Alinsky. Following Alinsky’s blueprint for establishing “grassroots” organizations to agitate for social change, CCC states that it has “nurtured thousands of local groups and leaders” across the United States.

Notable CCC Board members include:

Heather Booth, who is closely allied with the radical organization ACORN and is the co-founder and President of the Midwest Academy
Paul Booth (Heather Booth’s husband), a founder and former National Secretary of Students for a Democratic Society, and the onetime President of the Chicago-based Citizen Action, a group formed in 1969 by trainees from Saul Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation

The Executive Director of CCC is Deepak Bhargava, who previously worked in various capacities at ACORN. The Center’s campaign organizer is Drew Astolfi, who also serves as the Director of Faith Action for Community Equity, a faith-based multicultural organization that seeks to “challenge” the “systems” — most notably free-market capitalism – “that perpetuate poverty and injustice.”

CCC identifies the following as some of its major concerns:

Immigration: CCC endorses the Fair Immigration Reform Movement, which advocates amnesty for, unionization of, and increased voter participation by illegal immigrants “as a way to create political power.”

Generation Change: This is CCC’s “new effort to recruit, train and support tomorrow’s grassroots organizers and leaders.”

Native American Project: This is “the heart of [CCC’s] efforts to build grassroots leadership, organizational capacity, and a more unified voice among Native Americans for social and economic justice.”

Assistance for the Neediest: “In the mid-1990s, policymakers in Washington set out to reform the nation’s welfare program. … Today, more people are poor, and those who are poor have slipped deeper into poverty.”

The Center for Community Change is a member of the United for Peace and Justice anti-war coalition, which is led by Leslie Cagan, a longtime committed socialist who aligns her politics with those of Fidel Castro‘s Communist Cuba.

The Center is financially supported by such foundations as the Ahmanson Foundation, the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Annie E. Coalition for Comprehensive Immigration Reform

“…Bjørn Lomborg (born January 6, 1965) is a Danish author, academic, and environmental writer. He is an adjunct professor at the Copenhagen Business School, director of the Copenhagen Consensus Centre and a former director of the Environmental Assessment Institute in Copenhagen. He became internationally known for his best-selling and controversial book The Skeptical Environmentalist.

In 2002, Lomborg and the Environmental Assessment Institute founded the Copenhagen Consensus, which seeks to establish priorities for advancing global welfare using methodologies based on the theory of welfare economics.

Lomborg campaigns for an unconventional position on climate change: he opposes the Kyoto Protocol and other measures to cut carbon emissions in the short-term, and argues that we should instead adapt to short-term temperature rises as they are inevitable, and spend money on research and development for longer-term environmental solutions, and on other important world problems such as AIDS, malaria and malnutrition. …”

“…Lomborg spent a year as an undergraduate at the University of Georgia, earned a master’s degree in political science at the University of Aarhus in 1991, and a Ph.D. in political science at the University of Copenhagen in 1994. He has no training in climatology, meteorology, or the physical sciences, but is trained in the use of mathematics and statistics in the social sciences.

He lectured in statistics in the Department of Political Science at the University of Aarhus as an assistant professor (1994–1996) and associate professor (1997–2005). He left the university in February 2005 and in May of that year became an Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School.

In 1996, Lomborg’s paper, “Nucleus and Shield: Evolution of Social Structure in the Iterated Prisoner’s Dilemma”, was published in the academic journal, American Sociological Review.^[1] This was followed by his most famous book, The Skeptical Environmentalist, whose English translation was published as a work in environmental economics by Cambridge University Press in 2001. He later edited Global Crises, Global Solutions, which presented the first conclusions of the Copenhagen Consensus, published in 2004 by the Cambridge University Press. In 2007, he authored a book entitled Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist’s Guide to Global Warming.

His professional areas of interest include: the simulation of strategies in collective action dilemmas, simulation of party behavior in proportional voting systems, use of surveys in public administration, and use of statistics in the environmental arena. …”

DON PARDO: The following is an address by the president of the United States.

OBAMA (Fred Armisen): Good evening and congratulations to Rio for getting the 2016 Olympics. And to the Olympic Committee I say, good luck with Rio. (Smirks)

Now, last year I was elected with a mandate to bring this country change we could believe in. And as time has passed, it has become clear that this promise is troubling to some people. There are those on the Right who are angry. They think that I’m turning this great country into something that resembles the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany, but that’s just not the case. Because when you look at my record, it’s very clear what I’ve done so far, and that is — NOTHING. NADA. Almost one year and nothing to show for it.

You don’t believe me? You think I’m making it up? Take a look at this checklist.

Now, on my first day in office, on my first day in office, I said I’d close Guantanamo Bay. Is it closed yet? No.

I said we’d be out of Iraq. Are we? Not the last time I checked.

I said I’d make improvements in the war in Afghanistan. Is it better? No, I think it’s actually worse.

How about health care reform? Hell no.

I even, I even went personally to try and bring the Olympics to Chicago in 2016. It didn’t work out, but in this case, there’s some good news with the bad. For every person who buys an American car in the next six months, you’re gonna get one of these.

Now I just don’t see why the Right is so riled up. I mean, how do you think the Left feels? They’re the ones that should be mad. Now, I’m sure they thought I would have addressed at least one of the following things by now:

Global Warming – No.

Immigration Reform – No.

Gays in the Military – Nuh-uh.

Limits on Executive Powers – Nope.

Torture Prosecutions – No.

So looking at this list, I’m seeing two big accomplishments: Jack and Squat.

And remember, I can do whatever I want. I have a majority in both houses of Congress. I could make it mandatory for all gays to marry, and require all cars to run on marijuana. But do I? No.

But it’s not all bad news. I have a few accomplishments. The Cash for Clunkers program really stimulated the economy. Unfortunately, it was the economy of Japan.

Let’s see what else… Also, I killed a fly on TV. Remember that? Uh, I brought a white police officer and a black professor together for a beer. Who else could do that? You’re right — Oprah, but no one else.

So, please stop saying this country is on the road to socialism. If that were actually the case, I’d be making some real changes. Instead, it took me four months to pick out a dog.

So, all of you frothing Glenn Beck supporters put away those tri-cornered hats and those photoshopped pictures of me as The Joker; because if I see anymore of this hateful rhetoric, I’m gonna have to take drastic action.

Nah, not really.

Meaning of Créu

“…Let me try to help…
The word “créu” has not a meaning. Sorry about my next explanation, but I’ve gotta go deep in brazilian sexual meanings… (moderators, if I’m very rude, pease note me, ok?)

1st. Do you know the alligators or another predators, ok? When they bites something, the sound that they do (in brazilian slang language) is “créu”. An example: A postman teeling about a bite of an dog: “Was terrible, man! I’ve tried to runaway, but that dog “créu” on me!

2nd. Brazilian people are very creative when the matter is about sex. In slang language, people has been adopted a term “créu” for a sex. People uses the meaning that the guy is a predator that “créu” the girl (“catch” the girl, have a sex with her). Example: “wow man, that guy just knew that hottie babe and in the same night he “créu” her…”
