“The Great Pretender” – The Platters
Barack Obama Speech from Berlin, Germany
Obama’s speech in Berlin was disappointing and insulting to the American people.
“…I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen have come before. Tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for President, but as a citizen – a proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world.”
He starts with a blatant lie: ” I speak to you not as a candidate for President”.
Well if the Senator was not running for President, would he be giving a speech in Berlin in front of the Victory Column?
Has he decided to give his delegate votes to Senator Hillary Clinton?
Obama then proclaims himself a “fellow citizen of the world”.
The American people thought he was running for President of The United States not President of the New World Order or The United Nations.
Since Obama is a big supporter and advocate for open borders and amnesty for all illegal immigrants or criminal aliens, I guess this is an invitation to all his fellow world citizens to come to America stay or leave. His Kenyan Moslem father did and then abandoned his Mother and him to fend for themselves when he returned to Kenya.
Then he plays both the race and class warfare cards:
“I know that I don’t look like the Americans who’ve previously spoken in this great city. The journey that led me here is improbable. My mother was born in the heartland of America, but my father grew up herding goats in Kenya. His father – my grandfather – was a cook, a domestic servant to the British. “
American citizens have no desire to be world or global citizens nor pay higher taxes including the Global Poverty Tax to be given to the United Nations to be distributed.
In Obama speak “burdens” mean “taxes” and he tells you about it in his speech:
“…Yes, there have been differences between America and Europe. No doubt, there will be differences in the future. But the burdens of global citizenship continue to bind us together. A change of leadership in Washington will not lift this burden. In this new century, Americans and Europeans alike will be required to do more – not less. Partnership and cooperation among nations is not a choice; it is the one way, the only way, to protect our common security and advance our common humanity. …”
“…This is the moment when we must build on the wealth that open markets have created, and share its benefits more equitably. Trade has been a cornerstone of our growth and global development. But we will not be able to sustain this growth if it favors the few, and not the many. Together, we must forge trade that truly rewards the work that creates wealth, with meaningful protections for our people and our planet. This is the moment for trade that is free and fair for all. ..”
Right out of black liberation theology from both Reverand Wright, James Cone and Karl Marx:
“From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.”

Black Liberation Theology
Obama does not know how wealth is created or markets work, he only wants to redistribute wealth by stealing it from the American people in taxes and giving it to who thinks would benefit from it the most.
If you want to end world poverty export capitalism and free enterprise, do not promote world socialism and a new world order.
If that was not enough, he actually builds walls that at least in the United States have been broken down and crumbling for years or do not even exist, except in Obama deluded and inexperienced mind and in the Church he attended for twenty years:
“That is why the greatest danger of all is to allow new walls to divide us from one another.
The walls between old allies on either side of the Atlantic cannot stand. The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down.”
Obama buys into the man-made global warming myth when he states and lies again:
“…This is the moment when we must come together to save this planet. Let us resolve that we will not leave our children a world where the oceans rise and famine spreads and terrible storms devastate our lands. Let us resolve that all nations – including my own – will act with the same seriousness of purpose as has your nation, and reduce the carbon we send into our atmosphere. This is the moment to give our children back their future. This is the moment to stand as one. …”
“As we speak, cars in Boston and factories in Beijing are melting the ice caps in the Arctic, shrinking coastlines in the Atlantic, and bringing drought to farms from Kansas to Kenya.”
Utter and complete nonsense or as the British would say, rubbish.
It is the sun stupid!
Mother nature’s volcanoes with massive erruptions may also be assisting the sun in melting the Artic ice cap.
Both glaciers and the ice caps have beeen advancing and retreating for millions of years, cars have nothing to do with it.
Sounds like Obama has decided that former Vice-President Al Gore will be his “green” running mate.
Last week Al Gore threw down the green gauntlet of replacing U.S. electricity generation that currently uses coal, nuclear, and natural gas-fired plants with wind, solar, and geothermal in ten years.
This would destroy the US energy industry and wreck the US economy.
Apparently Obama has risen or fallen for Gore’s economy wrecking challenge.
Note the use of the word challenge in his conclusion, a coincident, not likely.
Obama concluded his speech with this:
“People of Berlin – and people of the world – the scale of our challenge is great. The road ahead will be long. But I come before you to say that we are heirs to a struggle for freedom. We are a people of improbable hope. With an eye toward the future, with resolve in our hearts, let us remember this history, and answer our destiny, and remake the world once again.”
Sounds like Hayek’s Road To Serfdom or world totalitarian socialism.
After what Germany has gone through with the “socialist” gang wars of the 1930s between the Nazies, Social Democrats and Communists, I would not use the word challenge, sounds too close to Hitler’s struggle.
Do not fall for “This is the moment ” rhetoric used in Obama’s many speeches.
His speech writers plagarized it from Bono:
U2 – Bono speaks + One – Live @ Live8 2005 in London
“This is our moment. This is our time. This is our chance. To stand up for what is right. We’re not looking for charity, we’re looking for justice. We can’t fix every problem but the ones we can, we must. Children die each day of a mosquito bite. People die each day of diseases we can control like AIDS. We can help them we have the drugs.”
This rhetoric is also playing upon a great song and talents of a wonderful singer:
Shania Twain – From This Moment On
From This Moment On – Shania Twain Ft. Backstreet Boys
I hope they do not use the song for the 2008 Presidential campaign.
If he does he will fill the stadium in Denver.
Obama will say and steal anything to get elected, he is running a con on the American people.
The pump and dump drive-by mainstream media are in full pump or amplification mode.
Shame on them.
The distinction between being a reporter, commentator, activist, political supporter and campaign worker is not one they draw with clarity nor wisdom.
How are your ratings and readership numbers? Falling, I wonder why.
They will pay in the market place when nobody listens or watches them anymore.
The American people will not think much of Obama’s statement:
“…People of Berlin – people of the world – this is our moment. This is our time.
I know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we’ve struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We’ve made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions. …”
For Obama to go to Berlin and apologize for America’s mistakes to a largely German audience is a bit too much.
Obama conventiently forgets that hundreds of thousands of Americans died fighting Germans in two world wars.
The Kaiser and the Fuhrer which lead the Germans to defeat shared Obama’s arrogance and belief in state socialism.
Both the American and German people know where the road to socialism leads.
The American people will not elect Barrack Obama as President of the United States.
They want a leader not a reader, and certaintly not an arrogant socialist dilettante–a watermellon man-green on the outside and red on the inside.

Who Does Obama Think He Is?
A political messiah, who — unlike Reagan and Kennedy — needn’t bother to do anything
“…What Obama does not seem to understand is that the Brandenburg Gate is something you earn. President Reagan earned the right to speak there because his relentless pressure had brought the Soviet empire to its knees and he was demanding its final “tear down this wall” liquidation. When President Kennedy visited the Brandenburg Gate on the day of his “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech, he was representing a country that was prepared to go to the brink of nuclear war to defend West Berlin. …”
“…Americans are beginning to notice Obama’s elevated opinion of himself. There’s nothing new about narcissism in politics. Every senator looks in the mirror and sees a president. Nonetheless, has there ever been a presidential nominee with a wider gap between his estimation of himself and the sum total of his lifetime achievements?http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=OGI2ZWI2MzA2MWRkZTIyZmIxZjkzOWE0NjAzMDIwOTA=
Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name, a former Illinois state senator who voted “present” nearly 130 times. As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship? Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself. …”

“So, what do we make of this speech? The answer is — it doesn’t matter. The speech was ancillary to the event. It carried no news. The German audience was merely a European stage prop. The target audience was (1) the old news media, who will fawn over the sort of positive audience reception there that Bush will never enjoy, and (2) undecided voters back at home. …”
Obama, The Global Candidate
By Lee Cary
“…Obama will be packaged as the Global Candidate to whom the world’s poor and oppressed look for signs of hope for the future. His mixed race and varied national backgrounds symbolize his connectivity with peoples across the planet. The adulation felt for him beyond America offers the U.S. a chance for enhanced strength and repaired credibility worldwide. Sure, he’s an American citizen, but he’s also a global citizen, a man of the world. …”

Obama’s Berlin Moment
By James Lewis
“…The history of Europe is all glorified blood, blood, and more blood. Today, Eurosocialists claim to be all about peace. But in fact socialism has been a classic European imperialist movement — what do you think the Soviet Union was all about? Today Eurosocialism is limited to peaceful imperialism, but not a few decades ago it taught agitators like Pol Pot how to kill, and sent him off to Cambodia to murder three million of his people. As long as the massacres happened far away, European socialists were happy. They still are.
In fact, Eurosocialism still contains all the seeds of classic European imperialism: The endless sense of Europe’s superiority over the rest of the world, the preachiness of how the rest of the world must live, the constant efforts to impose global carbon taxes, poverty taxes, and UN rules on subject nations (like the US) for the greater glory of Germany-France-Spain-Britain — all the classic European imperial powers look at the US with green imperialism envy. …”

Fire Under Arctic Ice: Volcanoes Have Been Blowing Their Tops In The Deep Ocean
“A research team led by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) has uncovered evidence of explosive volcanic eruptions deep beneath the ice-covered surface of the Arctic Ocean. Such violent eruptions of splintered, fragmented rock–known as pyroclastic deposits — were not thought possible at great ocean depths because of the intense weight and pressure of water and because of the composition of seafloor magma and rock.
Researchers found jagged, glassy rock fragments spread out over a 10 square kilometer (4 square mile) area around a series of small volcanic craters about 4,000 meters (2.5 miles) below the sea surface. The volcanoes lie along the Gakkel Ridge, a remote and mostly unexplored section of the mid-ocean ridge system that runs through the Arctic Ocean.
“These are the first pyroclastic deposits we’ve ever found in such deep water, at oppressive pressures that inhibit the formation of steam, and many people thought this was not possible,” said WHOI geophysicist Rob Reves-Sohn, lead author and chief scientist for the Arctic Gakkel Vents Expedition (AGAVE) of July 2007. “This means that a tremendous blast of CO2 was released into the water column during the explosive eruption.”
The paper, which was co-authored by 22 investigators from nine institutions in four countries, was published in the June 26 issue of the journal Nature. …”
Could Volcanoes Be Melting The Arctic Ice?
“…Recent massive volcanoes have risen from the ocean floor deep under the Arctic ice cap, spewing plumes of fragmented magma into the sea, scientists who filmed the aftermath reported Wednesday.
The eruptions — as big as the one that buried Pompei — took place in 1999 along the Gakkel Ridge, an underwater mountain chain snaking 1,800 kilometres (1,100 miles) from the northern tip of Greenland to Siberia.
Scientists suspected even at the time that a simultaneous series of earthquakes were linked to these volcanic spasms.
But when a team led of scientists led by Robert Sohn of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts finally got a first-ever glimpse of the ocean floor 4,000 meters (13,000 feet) beneath the Arctic pack ice, they were astonished.
What they saw was unmistakable evidence of explosive eruptions rather than the gradual secretion of lava bubbling up from Earth’s mantle onto the ocean floor…”

New World Order
“The term “new world order” (Latin: novus ordo mundi) has been used to refer to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power. The first usages of the term surrounded Woodrow Wilson’s Fourteen Points and call for a League of Nations following the devastation of World War I. The phrase was used sparingly at the end of the Second World War when describing the plans for the United Nations and Bretton Woods system, in part because of the negative association to the failed League of Nations the phrase would bring. In retrospect however, many commentators have applied the term retroactively to the order put in place by the WWII victors as a “new world order.” …”

Obama in Berlin New World Order Speech reported by SKY News
“…Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at the Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Obama, Sr., a Black Kenyan of Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann Dunham, a White American from Wichita, Kansas. His parents met while both were attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was enrolled as a foreign student. They separated when he was two years old and later divorced. Obama’s father returned to Kenya and saw his American-born son only once more before dying in an automobile accident in 1982. …”
“Eco-socialism, Green socialism or Socialist ecology is an ideology merging aspects of Marxism, socialism, Green politics, ecology and the anti-globalization movement. Eco-socialists generally believe that the expansion of the capitalist system is the cause of social exclusion, poverty and environmental degradation through globalization and imperialism, under the supervision of repressive states and transstatal structures; they advocate the non-violent dismantling of capitalism and the state, focusing on collective ownership of the means of production by freely associated producers and restoration of the Commons. …”
“…Eco-socialists are critical of many past and existing forms of both Green politics and socialism. They are often described as Red Greens – adherents to Green politics with clear anti-capitalist views, often inspired by Marxism (Red Greens should be contrasted with Blue Greens). The term Watermelon is commonly applied, often as an insult, to describe professed Greens who seem to put social justice goals above ecological ones, implying they are “green on the outside but red on the inside”; the term is usually attributed to either Petr Beckmann or, more frequently, Warren T. Brookes, both conservative critics of environmentalism, and is apparently common in Australia, New Zealand and the United States (a website in New Zealand, The Watermelon, uses the term as a compliment, stating that it is “green on the outside and liberal on the inside”, using the term ‘liberal’ while also citing “socialist political leanings”, reflecting the use of the term ‘liberal’ to describe the Left-wing in many English-speaking countries). Red Greens are often considered ‘fundies’ or ‘fundamentalist greens’, a term usually associated with Deep Ecology despite the fact that the German Green Party ‘fundi’ faction included eco-socialists, and eco-socialists in other Green Parties, like Derek Wall, have been described in the press as ‘fundies’.[10 …”

The Mending Wall – As Recited by Robert Frost
“Something there is that doesn’t love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun,
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.
The work of hunters is another thing:
I have come after them and made repair
Where they have left not one stone on a stone,
But they would have the rabbit out of hiding,
To please the yelping dogs. The gaps I mean,
No one has seen them made or heard them made,
But at spring mending-time we find them there.
I let my neighbor know beyond the hill;
And on a day we meet to walk the line
And set the wall between us once again.
We keep the wall between us as we go.
To each the boulders that have fallen to each.
And some are loaves and some so nearly balls
We have to use a spell to make them balance:
‘Stay where you are until our backs are turned!’
We wear our fingers rough with handling them.
Oh, just another kind of out-door game,
One on a side. It comes to little more:
There where it is we do not need the wall:
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
My apple trees will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.
He only says, ‘Good fences make good neighbors’.
Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head:
‘Why do they make good neighbors? Isn’t it
Where there are cows?
But here there are no cows.
Before I built a wall I’d ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offence.
Something there is that doesn’t love a wall,
That wants it down.’ I could say ‘Elves’ to him,
But it’s not elves exactly, and I’d rather
He said it for himself. I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.
He moves in darkness as it seems to me~
Not of woods only and the shade of trees.
He will not go behind his father’s saying,
And he likes having thought of it so well
He says again, “Good fences make good neighbors.”
