My political philosophy has always been classical liberal or what is called in America libertarian.

I consider myself part of the conservative movement as well as the Tea Party movement.

Today to get elected libertarians must compete against the Democratic Party, the media and the Republican establishment. All three are controlled and lead by progressives or big government interventionist statists.

Stop wasting time trying to reform the Republican Party.

Forget about the progressive controlled Republican Party.

Time for another political party, call it the Independent Party!

Glenn Beck Reveals a Story He Hasn’t Been Able to Share for Over a Year – GOP ‘COUP’ STORY

Published on Oct 9, 2013

10/9/13 – Glenn Beck shared a story with viewers on Wednesday that he’s been keeping close to the vest since before the 2012 election, explaining that he’s been waiting for the right time to say what exactly happened, and what it means for the country. It all began, Beck said, in what he believes was late August when he was getting ready to do a number of events with FreedomWorks.

“It’s about 4:00 in the afternoon and I get a call from the president of FreedomWorks, Matt Kibbe, and I can hear the distress in his voice,” Beck said. “[Kibbe said], ‘Glenn, I’ve just been escorted out of my office by armed guards and told not to come back.'”

Kibbe added that he wasn’t the only one forcefully escorted out, and that they had been hijacked, so to speak, by the “old guard” GOP establishment.

“There was a coup during the election, and it was powerful,” Beck said. “They were trying to get rid of the libertarian, Tea Party-minded power players, and first and foremost on that hit list was Matt Kibbe and his allies. They didn’t like the fact that FreedomWorks was cleaning house in the GOP…that they were targeting people like Orrin Hatch. It didn’t sit well with the Karl Roves of the GOP world…” Beck said that shortly thereafter he got a call from the man inside FreedomWorks who had “ordered the hit,” who explained how the whole situation was “really good” because now he was the face of FreedomWorks and people trust him.

“His face never saw the light of day on my program,” Beck said. “I hung up the phone with him, the next day I called board members of FreedomWorks…and we said we support the libertarian voice, and if you allow this coup to sit, we’re done and we’ll expose it.” “It wasn’t even a week later the board took a vote and decided to reinstate Matt Kibbe as president,” Beck said. “Put in the half of the staff — all the libertarians that had been escorted out — reinstated all of them, and then escorted the leader of this coup and his cronies out the door for good.”

Beck spoke about the ramifications of the “coup” for the 2012 election, and said now is the right time to share the story because “the exact same thing — the same people really — are doing this now in the GOP.”

“Anyone in Congress or the Senate who associates with FreedomWorks, the Senate Conservatives Fund, the Tea Party, anybody, anybody is being targeted by the same class of establishment Republican progressives,” Beck said. “They do not like it when you organize. They do not like it when you choose the candidates that you actually want.”

Beck said it’s the same reason why lawmakers are not truly pursuing the IRS’ targeting of small government groups, because progressives on both sides “want that tool in place…to come after people like you.”

“This has never been about left and right,” Beck said. “This is about freedom, freedom, and tyranny.”

Beck has said multiple times that he has no desire to see a third party, and reminded how the Republican Party began.

“Before the GOP was in existence, it was a two party system — the Democrats and the Whigs,” Beck said, noting that many Whigs and a fair number of Democrats were frustrated that both parties were offering much of the same.

“Charles Sumner was one of the most hated people by the Whigs and the Democrats…so much that he was literally beaten within an inch of his life on the House floor because no one stepped in to stop it,” Beck continued. “Within four years, Sumner wasn’t the most hated anymore — he was the most beloved man in the Republican Party, and the Whigs were extinct. I’m telling you that’s what’s coming if we stand.” Beck said men like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul may be the “Charles Sumner” of today, and he has no doubt that someday soon they will be “the most beloved members of the new Republican Party…”

The Republican Party establishment definitely wants Mitt Romney to be the party’s Presidential candidate in order that the Republican Party can stay in power in the House and capture the Senate.

Unfortunately, neither the tea party nor the conservative movement including libertarian and traditional conservatives, independents, the unemployed and the youth of America want another big government spending progressive neoconservative as the next president.

I for one will stay home if Romney, Gingrich or Santorum are the party’s nominee.

Romney, Gingrich and Santorum are all big government spending progressive neoconservatives that will never cut spending and balance the budget.

Instead, all three want to start another war in the middle east with Iran.

The American people want Federal government spending to be cut  by at least $1 trillion and the budget balanced in the next two to three years.

The American people want the elimination of the IRS and all federal income taxes and payroll taxes and their replacement with a consumption national sales tax–the FairTax.

The American people want government departments, agencies, and programs shut down permanently and welfare, entitlement and defense spending cut.

The American people want government spending limited to what the federal government collects in tax revenues and no more increases in the national debt.

The American people want all the troops to come home and a withdrawal from the middle east.

The Republican Party establishment elite wants none of the above.

The Republican Party establishment has been captured by the progressive neoconservatives.

Romney, Gingrich and Santorum are all progressive neoconservatives.

The only candidate advocating limited government and non-intervention at home and abroad is Ron Paul.

Paul has been highly critical of big government progressive neoconservatives.

Congressman Ron Paul, MD – We’ve Been NeoConned

Should Paul not get the Republican nomination, I sincerely hope he runs as the candidate of a third-party.

The Republican Party establishment are simply no longer listening nor understanding what conservatives and libertarians want is limited government with balanced budgets and a non-interventionist government at home and abroad.

The time is ripe for a third-party that would attract independents, Republicans and Democrats.

No more big government spending progressives and/or neoconservatives of either party.

The American people want a real choice and not another counterfeit conservative. who “talks” conservative but spends insanely.

G. Edward Griffin – The Collectivist Conspiracy

“In this exclusive 80 minute video interview, legendary conspiracy author G. Edward Griffin explains how his research, which spans no less than 5 decades, has revealed a banking elite obsessed with enforcing a world government under a collectivist model that will crush individualism and eventually institute martial law as a response to the inevitable backlash that will be generated as a result of a fundamental re-shaping of society.

Griffin discusses the similarities between the extreme left and the extreme right in the false political paradigm and how this highlights a recurring theme – collectivism. Collectivism is the opposite of individualism and believes that the interests of the individual must be sacrificed for the greater good of the greater number, explains Griffin, uniting the doctrines of communism and fascism. Both the Republican and Democrat parties in the United States are committed to advancing collectivism and this is why the same policies are followed no matter who is voted in to the White House.

“All collectivist systems eventually deteriorate into a police state because that’s the only way you can hold it together,” warns Griffin.

Carroll Quigley, Georgetown University Professor and mentor to former president Bill Clinton, explained in his books Tragedy and Hope and The Anglo-American Establishment, how the elite maintained a silent dictatorship while fooling people into thinking they had political freedom, by creating squabbles between the two parties in terms of slogans and leadership, while all the time controlling both from the top down and pursuing the same agenda. Griffin documents how the Tea Party, after its beginnings as a grass roots movement, was later hijacked by the Republicans through the likes of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck.

Pointing out how Republicans and Democrats agree on the most important topics, such as US foreign policy, endless wars in the Middle East, and the dominance of the private banking system over the economy, Griffin lays out how the left-right hoax is used to steer the destiny of America.

Griffin also talks at length on a myriad of other important subjects, such as the move towards a Chinese-style censored Internet, the demonization of the John Birch Society as a racist extremist group, the Hegelian dialectic, the power of tax-exempt foundations and the Council on Foreign Relations, the movement towards world government, and the question of whether the elite are really worried about the growing awareness of their agenda amongst Americans.”

An Idea Whose Time Has Come – G. Edward Griffin – Freedom Force International – Full

There is no point in worrying about the erosion of personal freedom that is the reality of our present era if we can do nothing about it. They say that knowledge is power, but that is one of the greatest myths of all history. Knowledge without action is useless and leads only to apathy and despair. So the question is: what type of action can reverse this trend? Writing letters and signing petitions to the same people who have created the problem is not going to do it. Voting for candidates selected by power brokers with hidden agendas will not do it either. There have been many proposals to reverse the tide of totalitarianism but, after decades of effort, none of them have worked. In this address, G. Edward Griffin, Founder of Freedom Force, tells us why; and the reason is so simple, it will astound you. Once we clear away that single barrier, the plan for a pro-active counter-force falls quickly into place. This is the missing piece of the puzzle, the ultimate solution we have been seeking. Visit
The solution is simple. It is to take back control of the power centers of society, one-by-one, just the way they were captured in the first place. Replace the collectivists with people who have no personal agendas except to defend freedom. This will unleash the vast human potential for prosperity and happiness that can be realized only in the absence of government oppression. However, to reach that goal, it will be necessary for those who cherish freedom to do more than complain and far more than just casting a vote every few years. They must reach for power. That is the reason for the motto of Freedom Force: Impotentes defendere libertatem non possunt, which is Latin for “Those without power cannot defend freedom.”

The Best Enemies Money Can Buy – Prof. Antony C. Sutton

“…A classic interview by Professor Antony Sutton, who taught economics at California State University, and was a research fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. In this talk, Prof. Sutton goes into his impeccable research on how a close-knit group of Western financiers and industrialists (centered around Morgan and Rockefeller in the US, and around Milner and the City financiers, in the UK) created and sustained their three supposed enemies right from the very beginning: Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, and FDR’s Fabian socialism.
Particularly, he goes into how Wall Street/City of London financiers used their banking institutions and their industrial enterprises to:
1) Help finance and sustain the Bolshevik Revolution. Build up Soviet industry during Lenin’s Five-Year Plans, both through finance, technology/industrial transfers and technical assistance. Continue to build the Soviets throughout the entire Cold War, through the same kinds of deals. This included the Korea and the Vietnam eras, during which American troops were being killed by… Western-made Soviet equipment.
2) Build up Nazi Germany, both financially and industrially;
3) Get FDR into power in America as their man, and even draw up the New Deal policies, especially FDR’s National Recovery Act — designed by Gerard Swopes of General Electric and deeply welcomed by Wall Streeters Morgan, Warburg and Rockefeller.
Sutton was not a wild speculator. He was a distinguished academic researcher who documented his conclusions impeccably in his several works. Not being able to counter his research, the establishment (including academia) simply attempts to ignore it, and pretend it isn’t there. The purpose for these Wall Street policies was very simple: to create, and globalize, what Sutton calls Corporate Socialism. A system under which everything in society is ruled by the state, and the state is, in its stead, controlled by financiers who, hence, get to rule and manage society, to their liking. In other words, to get society to work for the financiers, using a socialist state as an intermediary. This is what we now know as the globalization economic model. As a result of all the clashes of the 20th century, most notably WWII and the Cold War (fought between powers that were manipulated and controlled by these banker cliques), the world has been ‘globalized’. Meaning that it has been entirely taken over by these financiers, and is ever closer to being completely ruled by them, through not only the national states and national central banking systems, but mainly through supranational agencies and institutions.
Go into Professor Sutton’s books, most notably the Hoover Institute’s series on Western technological/industrial transfers to the Soviets and the ‘Wall Street’ trilogy. If you have a difficulty in purchasing the original books, you’ll find most of them are easily available online, on pdf form. …”

Establishment Media Crucifies Ron Paul On Every Front

“As long as nations cling to protective tariffs, migration barriers, compulsory education, interventionism and etatism, new conflicts capable of breaking out at any time into open warfare will continually arise to plague mankind.”

~Ludwig von Mises, Liberalism, pages 150-151

Jeffrey Lord has been attacking Ron Paul’s non-interventionist foreign policy on various so-called “conservative” talk radio shows and accuses Ron Paul of not being a conservative.

Really, he must be kidding or simply does not know the history of the conservative movement.

Suggest he read George H. Nash’s book, The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America Since 1945.

SA@TAC – The Great Neo-Con: Libertarianism Isn’t ‘Conservative’

If Lord means that Ron Paul is  not a neoconservative, then Lord is correct.

Ron Paul is definitely not a neoconservative.

Congressman Ron Paul, MD – We’ve Been NeoConned

Neoconservatives are right-wing progressives Democrats that became “boat people” and switched to the Republican Party in the 1970s when the Democratic Party nominated George McGovern as their Presidential candidate.

SA@TAC – What’s a ‘Neoconservative?’

SA@TAC – Who’s a Republican?

SA@TAC – Is Ron Paul Weird?

Most conservatives and libertarians do not consider neoconservatives as either new or conservative. They are really progressives that want the United States to have an aggressive interventionist foreign policy that supports nation or empire building, the U.S. as policeman of the world and Israel with foreign aid.

Both the progressives and/or neoconservatives that are in the Republican Party establishment are in panic mode that Paul may win the presidential nomination.

I suggest neoconservative Republicans get back in their boats and go back to the Democratic Party, where most of them came from in the first place.

Please take your hitman, Jeffrey Lord, with you.

Big government interventionists pervade the Democratic and Republican party establishments and leaderships.

The Democratic Party is the party of  left-wing progressives that favor the expansion of welfare dependency.

The Republican Party is the party of right-wing progressives that favor the expansion of warfare dependency.

Both favor big government interventionism at home and abroad.

Making government omnipotent with a massive bureaucracy advocating and supporting the warfare and welfare state is the goal of the progressive interventionists of the Democratic and Republican Party establishments.

SA@TheDC – ‘Fixing’ Big Government is Not Conservative

Ron Paul favors limited government and opposes government intervention at home and abroad.

Ron Paul is a conservative traditionalist libertarian that puts faith, family, friends and freedom first.

Paul wants to replace the big government warfare and welfare economy with a limited government peace and prosperity economy.

This is the reason more and more American people are coming to the conclusion that Ron Paul should be President of the United States.

SA@TAC – Constant Conservative Ron Paul

This is the reason Ron Paul is leading in Iowa.

This is the reason Ron Paul will be elected President of the United States.

The Republican Party establishment might talk conservative, but they walk and spend like big government progressives and neocons, which most of them are.

Just look at the Republican Party  budget passed in the House of Representatives. The Fiscal Year 2012 deficit will exceed $1 trillion each year.

This is not limited government.

This is not fiscally responsible.

This is not conservative or libertarian.

The neoconservatives want a war with Iran.

Starting World War III with Iran is the progressive answer to the United States economic problems.

The war on poverty, the war of drugs and the war on terror are all progressive wars of big government interventionists.

The U.S. government led by progressives of both the Democratic and Republican party establishments have lost all three wars that never end.

Those who support big government interventionism at home and abroad are progressive statistist and neoconservatives.

Progressives  are collectivists that oppose individualists with a conservative and libertarian political philosophy.

These progressives are not conservatives.

Do not fall for the neoconservative con men of talk radio that say Ron Paul is not conservative and invite Jeffrey Lord on their shows to smear and discredit Paul.

Most of them are closet neoconservative big government interventionists. This includes talk radio show hosts Levin, Medved, Hewitt and Bennett, just to name a few.

Ron Paul: Iran Sanctions = Act of War

“Interventionism begets economic nationalism. It thus kindles the antagonism resulting in war. An abandonment of economic nationalism is not feasible if nations cling to interference with business. Free trade in international relations requires domestic free trade.”

~Ludwig von Mises, Omnipotent Government, page 66.

SA@TAC – The End of Right-Wing Progressivism?

This is a massively huge and interventionist government that favors the warfare and welfare dependency of the American people.

Ron Paul and the Neoliberal Reeducation Campaign

By Jeffrey Lord

“…Neoliberals and Quasi-Cons:

When it comes to foreign policy, Ron Paul and his supporters are not conservatives.

This is important to understand when one realizes that Paul’s views are, self-described, “non-interventionist.”

The fact that he has been allowed to get away with pretending to conservatism on this score is merely reflective of journalists who, for whatever reason, are simply unfamiliar with American history. Ironically, it is precisely because the Paul campaign has not been thoroughly covered that no one pays attention to the historical paternity of what the candidate is saying.

There is no great sin in Paul’s non-interventionist stance (or “isolationist” stance as his critics would have it). There have been American politicians aplenty throughout American history, particularly in the 20th century, who believed precisely as Paul and his enthusiasts do right now. (Paul touts his admiration for the Founding Fathers, but even that is very selective. James Monroe of Monroe Doctrine fame was a considerable interventionist, Washington as a general invaded Canada, and Alexander Hamilton gave rise to Paul’s idea of evil spawn — the Federal Reserve. Interventionists of all types have been with us right from the start.)

The deception — and it is a considerable deception — is that almost to a person those prominent pre-Ron Paul non-interventionist “Paulist” politicians of the 20th century were overwhelmingly not conservatives at all. They were men of the left. The far left.

From three-time Democratic presidential nominee and Woodrow Wilson Secretary of State William Jennings Bryan to powerful Montana Democratic Senator Burton K. Wheeler to FDR’s ex-vice presidential nominee Henry Wallace to the 1968 anti-war presidential candidacy of Minnesota Democratic Senator Eugene McCarthy to 1972 Democratic presidential nominee (and Henry Wallace delegate in 1948) George McGovern, non-interventionists have held prominent positions in the American Left that was and is the Democratic Party.

But of particular interest, and here is where the deception by Paulists is so considerable, the Ron Paul view of foreign policy has been the cornerstone of Republican liberals and progressives. Those who, using current political terminology, would be called the RINOs (Republican In Name Only) of their day. …”

Jeffrey Lord: When Attacks on Ron Paul Fail, then Attack his Voters

Get this. The reason Ron Paul is polling well in Iowa is because it’s Iowa. Jeffrey Lord is a special kind of dense. He is so dense he doesn’t know he is dense. He keeps repeating the same untruths (that non-interventionism is inherently left-wing) over and over again despite being corrected repeatedly. My reply is below:

I get it. When your attacks on Ron Paul aren’t working, then attack the people who vote for him.

First, you continue with the lie that non-interventionism is inherently left-wing. You have been corrected on this so many times, and I know you read these responses since you reply, that you have no excuse. You are engaging in demagoguery.

Second, you are making the case against yourself and don’t even know it. It is not a coincidence that non-interventionism was the preferred policy of heartland Americans in flyover country. And it is not a coincidence that support for war came from elite internationalists on the East Coast. So if you want to throw your hat in with elitist internationalists then be my guest. I’ll throw mine in with parochial Americans in the Heartland. Lord, you are a shill and you don’t even realize you are a shill. …”

The estimated total tax revenues in Fiscal Year 2012 are estimated to be between $2,500 billion and $2,600 billion.

The gang of six Fiscal Year 2012 budget will have outlays or spending between $3,500 billion to $3,700 billion

The Fiscal Year 2012 will result in a deficit of over $1,000 billion under the gang of six’s plan.

The Fiscal Year 2012 budget for outlays or spending needs to be reduced by $500 billion to $3,000 billion or less.

This would result in a deficit of about $500 billion.

Any politician who votes for the gang of six so-called compromise balanced approach of more taxes now and spending cuts in the out years will not be getting my vote.

Both President Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush fell for a similar compromise of tax increases now for future spending cuts that never happened.

Reagan; Taxes and Budget Deficit: Revenue 19% of GDP; Spending is 23%; Revenue is sufficient

Cut spending and balance the budget in Fiscal Year 2012 and 2013.

Pass the FairTax bill.

Tax increases will put the economy into another recession or depression.

Monetization of the debt by the Federal Reserve only leads to defaulting on the debt by debasing or devaluing of the currency which results in rising prices or inflation and a decrease in the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar.

Debt hope: Obama praises ‘Gang of Six’ plan

Obama, some Republicans laud Senate ‘Gang of Six’ deficits plan as a way ahead on debt limit

“…President Barack Obama and a startling number of Republican senators lauded a bipartisan deficit-reduction plan Tuesday that includes $1 trillion in higher taxes, raising hopes of a last-minute compromise to repair the nation’s finances while averting a government default. Wall Street saluted as well. …”

“…Unlike Obama, Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C. was harshly critical, calling McConnell’s approach “smoke and mirrors.”

“If Republicans do not show the political will to stop the spending, and use the debt limit to make our case, the party is gone,” he was quoted as saying on National Review Online.

The Gang of Six envisioned a two-stage process in which $500 billion in savings would be enacted swiftly, with the more complicated changes in programs like Medicare and Medicaid to follow.

Obama Backs New Senate Debt Plan

“…The proposal would cut spending, overhaul entitlement programs such as Medicare, rework the tax code, and make significant changes to Social Security. He said he still hadn’t read all the details of the plan, and said it will be difficult for all parties to reach agreement.

The plan is sweeping in its scope but was thought for months to be both overly ambitious and slightly ambiguous, which nearly led the effort to collapse in recent weeks. But the plan was revived, in part by its lead authors—Sens. Mark Warner (D., Va.) and Saxby Chambliss (R., Ga.)—and the flood of bipartisan support coming out of the meeting surprised them both, the lawmakers said.

Mr. Obama’s endorsement of a bipartisan Senate deficit-reduction proposal, however, could isolate conservative House Republicans who have yet to embrace the president’s call for a deficit-cutting plan that includes tax-code changes. It faces an uncertain future in the House, and even in the Senate, however.

Senate Democratic leaders reacted cautiously, saying the Gang of Six plan had come too late to be incorporated into legislation increasing the debt ceiling.

Sen. Richard Durbin (D., Ill), one of six senators who helped crafted the plan, said it wouldn’t form part of a debt-ceiling package that must be passed by Congress before Aug. 2. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said he thought there could be elements of the plan that might be wrapped into the legislation increasing the debt ceiling.

Aides said the plan still lacked many crucial details. Its release, instead, would influence the budget landscape after Aug. 2, aides said. …”

“…Central parts of the plan would:

• Impose immediate spending cuts and caps that reduce the deficit by $500 billion over 10 years.

• Make changes to Social Security to make the program solvent over 75 years.

• Direct key congressional committees to find specific levels of deficit reduction within their areas of jurisdiction. If the committees fail, then five Democratic and five Republican senators would be able to offeKr their own deficit-reduction plan as a replacement.

Messrs. Warner and Chambliss said they asked the other lawmakers at the meeting to report back to them within 24 hours with any feedback, and several lawmakers said the group had already begun drafting legislation. …”

Happy Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre–Obama’s Fiscal Year 2012 Federal Budget of $4,000 Billion: Driving America Off The Cliff–Videos

Thelma & Louise

Stop Spending Our Future – The Crisis

After listening to President Obama’s State of the Union’s address last week I was curious as to the total Fiscal Federal Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 would be in terms of outlays, receipt and deficits.

At first I expected that the President would submit a budget between $3,700 billion to $4,000 billion.

For fiscal year 2011 President Obama budget estimated outlays at $3,834 billion, tax receipts at $2,567 billion and the deficit at $1,267 billion.

Table S-1. Budget Totals

(in billions of dollars)

The more I thought about the various investments or “stimulus” spending the President proposed in this speech, I concluded the President would pull out all constraints and stops and propose a budget over $4,000 billion.

The reason is simple.

The Republican establishment is calling for a Fiscal Year 2008 level budget or about $3,000 billion in outlays.

The tea party, conservative and libertarian movements are all calling for massive cuts in Federal government spending, balanced budgets and no increase in the debt ceiling.

A balanced budget would require a $2,500 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2012 which is slightly above the level of  Fiscal Year 2005 outlays of $2,471 billion when tax receipts were $2,153 billion and the deficit was $318 billion.

A balance budget assumes tax receipts would be $2,500 billion for Fiscal Year 2012 which could be optimistic.

Historical Tables Budget of the U.S. Government

President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2012 Federal Budget will most likely be $4,000 billion in outlays, $2,500 billion in receipts, and a deficit of $1,500 billion. However, he might fudge the tax receipts number and estimate it to be $3,000 billion with a deficit of $1,000 billion.

For Fiscal Year 2010 that ended on September 30, 2010, the actual outlays were $3,455 billion, actual receipts $2,161 billion and the deficit was $1,294 billion.

Monthly Treasury Statement of Receipts and Outlays of the United States Government

One day after President Obama’s speech the Congressional Budget Office revised its estimate of the Fiscal Year 2011 Federal Budget to $1,500 billion.

Budget Deficit Projected to Grow to $1.5 trillion; Obama Pledges Spending Freeze

President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2012 Federal Budget will be dead on arrival when it reaches the House of Representatives.

President Obama’s state of the union address was really the launch of his 2012 run for a second term as president.

The American people will soon become aware of President Obama’s Valentine present of a $4,000 billion budget.

With the official unemployment rate remaining above 9% and the total unemployment rate running above 16% for the next 24 months, President Obama is now a lame duck one term president.

President Obama’s budget will be a Saint Valentine’s Day massacre of the Democratic Party.

The American people have stop listening to President Obama and the Democratic Party for the simple reason that they have ignored their primary concerns–high unemployment, out of control government spending and massive increases in the national debt.

FY 2012 budget readied for Valentine’s Day release

By Suzanne Kubota

“…Although the President’s fiscal 2012 budget is confirmed to be released on February 14th, don’t expect there to be hearts and flowers flowing up and down Pennsylvania Avenue.

The president has already said he wants a 5-year, non-security discretionary spending freeze, while promoting other investment spending.

Republicans, however, pledge deeper cutbacks in view of Congressional Budget Office estimates the deficit will hit $1.48 trillion in fiscal 2011. …”

I am first and foremost a movement conservative of the traditional libertarian wing.

I would describe my political philosophy as classical liberal or what in America is called libertarian.

I vote for the candidate that comes closest to my own political philosophy and ignore  party labels.

Today I consider myself an independent.

I have simply given up on the Republican Party for they have not limited the size and scope of government and have repeatedly  engaged in government intervention both domestically and abroad.

The Democratic Party is a  collectivist/statist party that favors heavy government intervention into the lives of the American people.

The Republican Party is also a collective/statist party that favors significant government intervention into the lives of the American people and the citizens of other countries as well–nation building.

Neither party will permanently close ten Federal Department that need to be shut down.

Neither party will support a FairTax, a national consumption tax to replace Federal income, payroll, gift and estate taxes.

Neither party will vigorously support immigration law enforcement and telling illegal aliens to please go home or you and your family will be deported.

Neither party will make both Social Security and Medicare, an individually controlled and owned account and insurance.

Neither party will pay down the National Debt and reduce unfunded liabilities.

Why? Both parties are populated with professional  politicians more interested in holding office than in doing what is right and what the people are demanding.

The Republican Party at the local, state, and national level is deeply penetrated with progressives.

More and more Americans consider both political parties as damaged goods or brands.

Karl Rove is part of the problem. The reason many conservatives left the Republican Party were President Bush’s refusal to limit government spending by vetoing bills, comprehensive immigration reform and amnesty for illegal aliens, and his slowness in changing strategy and military commanders in the “war on terrorism” in Iraq.

The Republican deserved to lose in both 2006 and 2008.

Keeping running progressive Republicans and the Republican Party will be the third-party.

The Democratic Party under the leadership of Barack Obama is quickly becoming a third-party.

Let the Democratic Party and Republican parties destroy themselves as they wrecked the American economy.

A plaque on both parties for abandoning their principles for power.

Yes, Obama is five times worse but neither Bush nor Obama will ever get my vote nor will any candidate that is a progressive or socialist.

Let the people of Delaware decides whether they want a person running as a conservative or a progressive Republican.

If they want another Biden let them have one.

Rove better stop talking and start listening.

Defeat progressive liberals of both parties.

In your heart you know she is right!

What Would the Founders Do?” with Richard Brookhiser

Firing Line mock episode with William F. Buckley and Christopher Buckley

Richard Brookhiser

“…Richard Brookhiser (born February 23, 1955) is an American journalist, biographer and historian. He is a senior editor at National Review. He is most widely known for a series of biographies of America’s founders, including Alexander Hamilton, Gouverneur Morris, and George Washington.

Brookhiser was born in Rochester, New York.[1] He has written books that deal either with the nation’s founding, or the principles of America’s founders, including What Would Our Founders Do?, a book describing how the founding fathers would approach topical issues that generate controversy in modern-day America.

Brookhiser began writing for National Review in 1970. “My first article, on antiwar protests in my high school, was a cover story in National Review in 1970, when I was 15.” [2] He earned an A.B. degree (1977) at Yale,[1] where he was active in the Yale Political Union as a member and sometime Chairman of the Party of the Right. In his freshman year he took a class on Thomas Jefferson taught by Garry Wills. Although admitted to Yale Law School, Brookhiser went to work full-time for National Review in 1977; by the time he was 23, he was a senior editor, the youngest in the magazine’s history. He was selected as the successor to the magazine’s founder, William F. Buckley, until Buckley ultimately changed his mind. For a short time he wrote speeches for Vice President George H.W. Bush.

He has written for a variety of magazines and newspapers. Brookhiser’s work has appeared in the “Talk of the Town” section of The New Yorker magazine as well as in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Cosmopolitan, The Atlantic Monthly, Time, and Vanity Fair. In 1987 he began a column for The New York Observer which he wrote until 2007.

Brookhiser both wrote and hosted the documentary film Rediscovering George Washington, by Michael Pack, broadcast on PBS on July 4, 2002.[2] He was historian curator of the exhibition “Alexander Hamilton: The Man Who Made Modern America”, at The New-York Historical Society (2004–2005). He received an honorary doctorate degree in 2005 from Washington College.[2] As of October 2003, he was driving a ’77 Camaro.[3]

In 2008, Brookhiser received the National Humanities Medal from the National Endowment for the Humanities.[4]

I Hear American Singing

I HEAR America singing, the varied carols I hear;
Those of mechanics—each one singing his, as it should be, blithe and strong;
The carpenter singing his, as he measures his plank or beam,
The mason singing his, as he makes ready for work, or leaves off work;
The boatman singing what belongs to him in his boat—the deckhand singing on the steamboat deck;
The shoemaker singing as he sits on his bench—the hatter singing as he stands;
The wood-cutter’s song—the ploughboy’s, on his way in the morning, or at the noon intermission, or at sundown;
The delicious singing of the mother—or of the young wife at work—or of the girl sewing or washing—Each singing what belongs to her, and to none else;
The day what belongs to the day—At night, the party of young fellows, robust, friendly,
Singing, with open mouths, their strong melodious songs.
