Its main story was an undercover video taken by filmmaker James O’Keefe of what purported to be an ACORN worker advising a fake ‘pimp’ and his ‘prostitute’ how to avoid taxes and prosecution. ACORN, for its part, has condemned the video as “gotcha journalism” and demanded to see the full tape for proof that it wasn’t misleadingly edited. As of 1:50 pm, there have been 3 posts about ACORN, one introductory post, and one post about health care — a little slow, but the ACORN bit is probably enough to give the site a good first day. …”
The time has come for recognizing that ACORN at the top is run as a criminal enterprise for the financial benefit of the insiders.
The exploitation of the poor and uneducated of the community that make up the workers of ACORN is shameful.
Public outrage will eventually lead to a complete and comprehensive investigation of ACORN criminal activities.
President Obama and Attorney General Holder should demand an investigation of ACORN by a special prosecutor.
I suspect what will happen will be similiar to the what happened in the case of the New Black Panthers–nothing.
The big media will ignore, dismiss and minimize any violations of the law by ACORN because of the ties or connections President Obama has with ACORN and the people who run it.
Small independent news media will be breaking the news stories not failing old media dedicated to protecting the reputation of their progressive radical socialist leader, Barack Obama, the habitual liar and smoker.

The community organizing group ACORN has fired two employees at its Baltimore office who were seen on hidden-camera video giving advice to a man posing as a pimp and a woman pretending to be a prostitute, as some legal experts raise questions over whether the employees broke the law.

An ACORN official told the couple how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 “very young” girls from El Salvador that they said they wanted to import as prostitutes. …”

Did SEIU want in on a new deal that involves their “turf” and instead see an opportunity to acquire more power by enlisting the help of ACORN? Did ACORN deliver the ground troops and have Barack Obama apply the pressure on Capitol Hill? Either way and unfortunately for Barack Obama, trouble usually follows his shady friends and his dealing with the Carlyle Group have caused some ACORN sized headaches. The Carlyle Group’s involvement in a pension scandal was the most recent:
“Among the money managers named in the indictment are the politically connected private equity players Carlyle Group and Quadrangle Group, whose co-founder Steven Rattner, leads the Obama administration’s auto-industry-bailout efforts.”
If the Sopranos and Obama’s treatment of the ACORN scandals are any indication, “muscle for the money” seems to come with a certain amount of “protection” whether it be silence from the administration, the Justice Department, or the main stream media, or just a slap on the wrist for one of their cronies. ACORN, SEIU and Obama may have moved on to the next target but continue to use race and class as tactics and people as pawns in their power grabs.
