Malkin began her career at the Los Angeles Daily News, working as a columnist from 1992 to 1994. In 1995 she worked in Washington, DC as a journalism fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute [10], a think tank which is dedicated to the promotion of free enterprise without government regulation and which disputes the idea that human activities are contributing to global climate change.[11] In 1996, she moved to Seattle, Washington, where she wrote columns for The Seattle Times. She became a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicate in 1999.[12] [13] She also has been a frequent commentator for FOX News Channel and former guest-host of The O’Reilly Factor. In 2007 she announced that she would not return to The O’Reilly Factor, claiming that the show had mishandled a dispute over derogatory statements made about her by Geraldo Rivera in a Boston Globe interview. [14][15][16]
Books
Her first book, Invasion: How America Still Welcomes Terrorists, Criminals, and Other Foreign Menaces, was published in 2002 and was a New York Times bestseller.
In 2004, she wrote In Defense of Internment: The Case for ‘Racial Profiling’ in World War II and the War on Terror, defending Japanese American internment by the United States Government during World War II, minimizing the hardships of the detention camps, and arguing that the same procedures could be used against Arab and Muslim Americans today. The book engendered harsh criticism from several Asian American civil rights organizations.[17]As reported by Michelle Malkin, an attempt to ban the book from the Manzanar National Historic Site, (a former relocation and internment camp), failed.[18] The “Historians’ Committee for Fairness,” a group of professors, condemned the book for not having undergone peer review and argued that its central thesis is false.[19] The Hawaiian-based newspaper Midweek dropped her column as a result of the controversy.[20] In November 2004, The Virginian-Pilot dropped her column, calling her, among other things, “an Asian Ann Coulter.”[21] Malkin responded, “I’m not Asian, I’m American, for goodness’ sake. I would take the comparison to Ann Coulter as somewhat of a compliment. I have a lot of respect for Ann Coulter”.[22]
Malkin’s third book, Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild was released in October 2005.
Malkin’s fourth book, “Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies”, was released on July 27, 2009. She has embarked on a media tour, covering both TV and Radio outlets, to promote the book.

In June 2004 she launched a political blog, MichelleMalkin.com.[23] A 2007 memo from the National Republican Senatorial Committee described Malkin as one of the five “best-read national conservative bloggers”[24], and today on Technorati, her blog ranks as one of the top 100 blog of all types. [25]
After initially allowing reader comments, she disabled them, attributing her decision to an intolerable level of obscene and racist comments.[26] In June 2007, she revamped the blog, moving it to WordPress and a larger server.[27] With the new redesign, subscribed readers can once again post comments, however, comments registration is rarely open. Malkin states her policy thusly: “I may allow as much or as little opportunity for registration as I choose, in my absolute discretion, and I may close particular comment threads”.[28

So I chose three of the shady czars who haven’t been on the public’s radar screen — and should be: health care czar Nancy DeParle, Carrión, and technology czar Vivek Kundra.

"...This is a story that was broken by Ed Morrissey at Hot Air and has now hit the MSM - without crediting Morrissey or Hot Air which is typical behavior for the lazy reporters at most news outlets.
Writing on his blog after news of the meeting became public, Mr. Elmendorf diplomatically noted that "The President asked me and outside experts for our views about achieving cost savings in health reform." No doubt he did. But Mr. Elmendorf, a Democrat, will also have received the message that continuing apostasy will not be good for his future political career.
As Douglas Holtz-Eakin, the Republican who ran CBO from 2003 to 2005, put it, "The only appearance could be that they're leaning on him. CBO was created for Congress, for independent analysis. The White House did him [Elmendorf] a terrible disservice.” On second thought, perhaps we’re being unfair to LBJ, whose method was a combination of muscle and flattery. Mr. Obama learned his methods in Chicago.
I don’t care who you are in Washington, being summoned to the White House is intimidating in and of itself. We might wonder what the next report coming out of the CBO
will tell us when the Democrats finally get their act together and come up with a final bill.
After CBO chief Doug Elmendorf told Congress that passing Obamacare would add substantially to the federal deficit over the next ten years – unwelcome news for Obama who has watched Dems in Congress begin to get cold feet over his health care reform – the president “invited” (ordered?) Elmendorf to a meeting at the White House.
Understand that the Congressional Budget Office is answerable to Congress, not the White House. But this didn’t seem to matter to our Chicago Machine president who apparently had some words with the CBO chief about playing ball and not rocking the boat.

“…Is Blagojevich done making trouble for the now Washington based Axelrod, Emanuel and Obama? Hard to say. Yet, of the four men, Blagojevich is clearly the outsider. His more unrefined, strong-arm tactics and more pedestrian education does not fit with the much smoother Obama and friends (apparently notwithstanding Emanuel’s famous potty mouth). Blagojevich played the game well enough to be elected governor twice. Others steeped in the same political environment were less successful – until Obama came along.
Why is that? And why is this article coming out now? If you remember (I didn’t – had to look it up!) the four horsemen of the Apocalypse brought war, pestilence, famine and death. Wonder what the four horsemen of the Chicago way will bring????? “
