(4 of 14) MAJOR REDUCTIONS IN CARBON EMISSIONS ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY DEBATE: PETER HUBER
Al Gore is a laughing stock among the majority of the American people.
He is a fanatic and liar and is therefore dangerous to American economy to the extent his policy recommendations are implemented.
Thousands of scientists disagreed with his so-called “consensus” or the “science is settled” lie repeated by him and now President Obama.
Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant and man is not the primary cause of global warming by increasing his carbon emissions.
He will not debate his critics for the simple reason he would lose and he knows it.
Gore will give interviews only to big media that agree with him and usually with interviewers that do not understand even the basics of climate change or global warming.
Climate has and is changing all the time.
Man is not a primary cause of climate change or warming.
To suggest that man can significantly change climate and overcome the primary drivers of climate change is misleading.

Scientists Opposing The UN/IPCC On Global Warming 12 Times The Number Of IPCC Scientists
“…There is definitely a reformation going on in the scientific world regarding man-made, CO2 driven global warming theories. It seems the only measurable rising levels of anything having to do with the global climate is the number of dissenting scientists who reject the ’science’ of the UN/IPCC
. The ever increasing amounts of data and studies showing the fallacy of The Church of Al Gore/IPCC and its Chicken Little cries of doom has the tide shifting away
from the idea the Earth is warming due to man-made CO2.
The UN global warming conference currently underway in Poland is about to face a serious challenge from over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe who are criticizing the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. Set for release this week, a newly updated U.S. Senate Minority Report features the dissenting voices of over 650 international scientists, many current and former UN IPCC scientists, who have now turned against the UN. The report has added about 250 scientists (and growing) in 2008 to the over 400 scientists who spoke
out in 2007
. The over 650 dissenting scientists are more than 12 times the number of UN scientists
(52) who authored the media hyped IPCC 2007 Summary for Policymakers. The U.S. Senate report is the latest evidence of the growing groundswell of scientific opposition rising to challenge the UN and Gore. Scientific meetings are now being dominated by a growing number of skeptical scientists.
One thing good about the current financial crisis is it has forced the delay of expensive and useless caps on CO2 production. In order to reverse the CO2 production of an ever increasingly modern world (modern life styles require energy and produce CO2) would cost trillions of dollars and hamper economic growth for a generation. The only other option is to shrink the world’s population – and that is not going to happen.
And now the data shows it would all be for nothing. The current economic situation has thankfully delayed any talk from the Democrats of such nonsense. …”

Al Gore
Statement to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
“…Most importantly, as long as we continue to depend on dirty fossil fuels like coal and oil to meet our energy needs, and dump 70 million tons of global warming pollution into the thin shell of atmosphere surrounding our planet, we move closer and closer to several dangerous tipping points which scientists have repeatedly warned – again just yesterday – will threaten to make it impossible for us to avoid irretrievable destruction of the conditions that make human civilization possible on this planet.
We’re borrowing money from China to buy oil from the Persian Gulf to burn it in ways that destroy the planet. Every bit of that’s got to change.
For years our efforts to address the growing climate crisis have been undermined by the idea that we must choose between our planet and our way of life; between our moral duty and our economic well being. These are false choices. In fact, the solutions to the climate crisis are the very same solutions that will address our economic and national security crises as well.
In order to repower our economy, restore American economic and moral leadership in the world and regain control of our destiny, we must take bold action now.
The first step is already before us. I urge this Congress to quickly pass the entirety of President Obama’s Recovery package. The plan’s unprecedented and critical investments in four key areas – energy efficiency, renewables, a unified national energy grid and the move to clean cars – represent an important down payment and are long overdue. These crucial investments will create millions of new jobs and hasten our economic recovery – while strengthening our national security and beginning to solve the climate crisis. …”
